Our client is one of Australia’s largest manufacturers and national supplier of fresh food. Currently, our client is seeking a experienced OH&S & Return to Work Advisor.
The OHS Advisor will be responsible for the coordination of all safety initiatives for the company. Duties: *Developing and consulting safe work procedures
*Coordination of education for relevant OHS issues and requirements
*Incident, hazard and "near miss" management.
*Participate in monthly OHS committee meetings
*Assist, and participate if necessary, in OHS investigations.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing assistance in the writing, implementation and communication of the company's policies and procedures.
*Assist National HR/OHS Manager with the ongoing execution of risk management and hazard reduction
*Oversee overall induction and Management
Essential skills: *Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
*Methodical approach to solving problems
*Ability to exercise initiative and judgment
*Accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
*Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
Experience
* 2 years minimum experience in the OHS field
